Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! We sure did! Austin is so blessed and got so many things. Here are a couple pictures of our Christmas! I can't wait till next year.

Austin had his one year appointment today. Everything looks good!

Head- still in the 95th % percentile which means he is really smart!

Babies Best Friend

Austin has started to pet Scooter. It is so cute.

Austin is now practicing terrible twos now. During one of his "practice session" today I noticed that he has at least two molars poking through the gum. That may be the answer to the temper tantrums!

He is not walking yet but he is so close! He does take one or two steps but then realizes that he is standing alone so he drops down the the ground. I am hoping he walks before Christmas!

Today was so nice out! I went and picked up Austin from daycare and we went to the park. He was talking all the way there. It seemed like he knew where we were going.

Helping Daddy put together his new bounce horse that he got from us for his b-day.

He needs to be a little bit taller to be able to bounce better. He likes it though and that is all that matters!

Birthday Party

Austin's party was a huge success. I want to repeat HUGE! I cannot believe how many people showed up and how many people care about our little guy. I cannot thank you guys enough for your generosity. Austin was truly blessed and is ready for winter and a couple of years of playing with new toys!

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!

I can't believe our baby is one years old! **let me go get a tissue** He is growing like a weed in our backyard. He is cruising around the house like a pro now. We are just waiting for him to let go and just walk all over! He did take a step away from the wall to get to Grandpa on Saturday but that is it!

Super Saturday! Part II

After the pumpkin patch Mommy and Daddy went to Wendy's and Austin ate a couple chicken nuggets. (then went home and had fruit!) He is being silly!!

Later, we met Grandma and Caroline at another pumpkin patch. I think Austin had enough by now. He was not that happy!

Austin did like riding the tractor!

After the pumpkin patch we went to McDonalds and played on the playground. Austin loved this little log. He crawled from one side to the other. I am going to upload a video shortly.

That is about all for our day. It was very busy! Mommy is tired and getting sick. Baby is sleeping! Daddy is enjoying a beautiful night outside camping!

Super Saturday!!

What a busy day!!! Austin got his first haircut!

He was wonderful during the cut! The guy that did his hair commented that most babies cry or are scared of the razor,clips, air hose, or of him. Austin really just sat in Daddy's lap taking it all in! He looks like such a little man now!

I was cooking dinner today and Austin was playing by the fridge. I look down and he is face first in this picture of a model. I ran and got the camera, when I got back he was still looking at her. I bet he thought she was me! (yah right!!)

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Austin bought a cake for his Daddy's birthday. We had hats and everything for this day. We didn't get many pictures but I did manage to get one of Austin with his hat on. He hated it!

Friday Foto Fun!!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day! Austin and I spent some time playing outside together! He loved it!! He was crawling , laughing, and even eating grass!

BOOM BOOM Goes a great heart!

Austin had a cardiologist appointment on Monday. The last time he went to the heart doctor was when he was four months old. What a difference a couple months makes. The last couple times we went all we had to do is lay him on the table and they Dr. and nurses do there job. Well, not anymore. He screamed, screamed, and did a little bit of more screaming! We are pleased to say the Dr. said he looks great! She doesn't see any blockage or leakage in his valve! She even said she doesn't even hear the heart murmur. She does still hear a clicking sound which still indicates the bicuspid valve. We have to go back in six months. That will be a fun appointment! Holding down a 16 month old.

Hurricane Ike

The weather guys said we may get some winds and rain from hurricane Ike. I thought they were joking and there is no way we would have tropical storm wind here in Ft. worth, TX! I was wrong! WOW! I felt like we were in the hurricane!

Just Joking! It wasn't bad at all!
